Salem Community Foundation Scholarship

The Salem Community Foundation Scholarship program is designed to assist current students enrolled in a post-secondary undergraduate educational program. Residents of Salem City / Perry Township with a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply. Students must have a minimum class load of 6 semester hours or 9 quarter hours. A student's application is eligible for review three times for bachelor’s degree work.

All applications must be received by Wednesday, June 5, 2024 for scholarships to be awarded for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Late applications will not be processed and only completed applications will be considered.

Salem Community Foundation Ministerial Scholarship

In 2008, a Ministerial Scholarship Fund was established with the Salem Community Foundation. Scholarship aid will assist those who will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This scholarship is extended to individuals who wish to enter the fields of the Ministry, Christian Education, Youth Ministry, or a closely related field. The anonymous donor of the Ministerial Scholarship recognized the financial impact and sincere desire to dedicate oneself to a career path in ministry. Scholarship awards are valid at Bible Colleges, undergraduate and graduate schools. Applicants must submit indication of financial need, academic performance, reference letters, and a personal statement. The Ministerial Scholarship does not discriminate on the basis of religious denomination, age, sex, race, or geography.
